Naunton Village Playground Project
We are a parent-led project aiming to transform our much-loved but now dated village playground into an exciting space for children and their families to enjoy.
About the Project Creator
Naunton Parish Council represents the villagers of Naunton and nearby hamlets n the Cotswolds. The parish has a population of around 350 people and is a favourite with visitors to the area especially walkers andothers who enjoy the countryside.
The active Parish Council has five members who have input on planning development, emergency plans, flood management, and traffic issues. The parish council has previously enabled the refurbishment of the village hall, repairs to monuments and benches and is responsible for the village recreation field and play area. . .
This latest project aims to extend and replace the existing play equipment on the recreation field in the centre of the village and is headed by Cllr Charlie Hanks and a group of volunteer parents. The village children were consulted on the types of equipment that they would like to have in their playground and the results have been reflected in the new proposed equipment.
