I moved to London six years ago, building a life for myself in a city that’s full of opportunity but i didn't realise how incredibly isolating until i became a mums especially when your family are over 200 miles away and non of your friends have children.
When I had my daughter, I quickly realised there wasn’t a space that truly felt like me. Soft plays often felt cliquey, and the typical NHS or council-led sessions didn’t feel like environments where I could fully open up, be vulnerable, or just show up as myself without feeling judged.
That’s where Mère + Me began.
I created Mère + Me because I wanted something different a space where mums are truly put first. Especially in the fourth trimester, when everything is new, overwhelming, and often unsupported, I felt how important it was to have a community that feels safe, honest, and nurturing.
Mère + Me is about holding space for women in that transition supporting them as they find their feet in motherhood without losing themselves in the process. It’s about real conversations, genuine connections, and creating an environment where you can show up exactly as you are.
This is a space where you’re not just a mum you’re still you.
Because when mums feel seen, supported, and cared for, everything else flows.
