  • Volunteer Role - Venue Steward The venue steward is a key role in assessing the success of the Maritime Festival by monitoring the number of visitors to a venue and obtaining their feedback about the venue and the performances..
  • Bucket Collections Volunteers are essential in raising funds for the festival. The money collected goes towards funding the festival workshops and raising money for the Morecambe Lifeboats. Volunteers will work in pairs so bring a friend.
  • Marketing & Publicity Volunteer Role: This crucial position involves promoting the Morecambe Maritime Festival through developing and implementing marketing strategies, increasing community engagement, and attracting a broader audience to our events
  • Social Media Volunteer: Responsibilities include updating Instagram and Facebook with engaging content, creating visually appealing posts, responding to followers, monitoring trends, collaborating with management, and tracking metrics
  • The Web Developer role keeps www.morecambemaritimefestival.uk current and user-friendly. Responsibilities include updating content, fixing bugs, and improving functionality to help us reach a wider audience with essential festival information
  • Leaflet Distribution Volunteers will play a key role in promoting the Festival by distributing publicity materials to the public and delivering them to various postal areas to increase awareness and attendance at the festival.
  • Merchandise Sales Volunteers will manage the merchandise sales table with the goal of raising money for both the festival and a local charity. This position requires enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for engaging with the community.
  • Fund Raising Volunteer for a non-profit company. Can you engage donors, organize events, promote the festival, and ensure community benefits? Ideal for passionate, and people-focused individuals with a knack for persuasive communication.
  • Festival Photographers: Can you capture the mood of a workshop or the excitement of a festival. We are looking for volunteer photographers to help yus create a portfolio of images (or videos) of these innovative workshops and their performances.
