The environment
Connecting families and young people with our beaches and exploring the wildlife there.
The local economy
Random survey of 100 people on the day of the festival showed 22% were in Morecambe because of the festvial including the showcasing of the project outcomes.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We had one volunteer who was looking to expand his experience in project management. He helped to organise the the other volunteers including neurodivergent volunteers.
Arts, culture & heritage
We raised the profile of Morecambe's heritage through creative projects. The outcomes from the workshops were showcased during the festival.
Activity, health and leisure
We had a good turn out at the exploring the beach for local families.
