CVS Brent is a charity providing business support and capacity building to social enterprises, not for profits, charities and voluntary and community groups delivering services in the London borough of Brent. We do this through a wide variety of initiatives from fundraising support, training, networking, signposting, and advice.
Current services include:
· Capacity Building – (VCS) development service, delivered using 1:1 support in person, over email, telephone, video conference.
· Training & Events – VCS tailored training and events. Partners include Brent Council, John Lyons Charity, and Big Lottery).
· Public Health Resource Centre – loaning resources to agencies promoting public health.
· Brent Advice Matters (BAM) – virtual advice service using modernised IT and communications infrastructure to bring advice agencies together.
· Well London, Chalkhill estate – promoting health & wellbeing via social interventions on Chalkhill estate, Wembley.
· Big Local, Wembley Central – improving Wembley Central with a £1m investment over 10 years using community initiatives.
- Brent Meta-Network – a single point of contact and formally recognised representation structure for dialogue between Brent’s VCS and statutory agencies.
