Masbro community centre is now running on sunshine!

LBHF Council Website

Cllr Sue Fennimore, Deputy Leader at H&F Council, believes the new solar panels can inspire others. “The Masbro Centre has proved what can be done with a clear message and a well-run campaign,” she said. “I hope it will be the first of many groups in the borough to tackle their energy costs, so less is spent on energy and more is focused on community work, while being kinder to the planet.”

We hope that the campaign helped the local economy by raising the profile of the businesses that contributed to our fundraising efforts. We also have saved £1200 in costs which will be spent on supporting the community.
