Since obtaining the van, we have distributed 5,897kg of pre-loved items and equipment for babies and young children.

The local economy

The local economy

The van has been utilised to deliver new and pre-loved items and equipment to families experiencing poverty and other types of hardship. In total, since the van was purchased, Love Amelia has distributed an estimated £290,623 worth of items to over 2,600 babies and children.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

Love, Amelia has recruited additional volunteers to support with collections of pre-loved items and equipment as well as deliveries to families home and professional workplaces. A total of 48 volunteer hours have been given to collections and deliveries. Volunteers have also supported to sort donations, ensuring they are clean and safe for the child to receive. A total of 485 hours have been given by volunteers to support Love, Amelia since this project commenced.
