We would like to invite members of the community to celebrate the 50th Birthday of Leyland Library in November this year. We want to have music and theatre events in the Library which all can enjoy

We are making progress with our plans. On Friday 15th November Trouble at Mill will be performing at the library and we will be serving a Hotpot late lunch - all free of charge. We have other exciting plans in the pipeline for Autumn to celebrate the 50th Birthday of Leyland Library and as soon as they are finalised we will let you know.

We are doing amazingly well but need to raise another £261 before the end of April to ensure that get to our target and receive our funding. We have now raised 69% of our total as Lancashire County Council have pledged over £500 towards the event. Thanks to all the Friends of Leyland Library and supporters who have made a pledge so far. We really want to make this event something special for the community to enjoy so any further donations would be very much appreciated.
