Lewisham Disability Fun Palace

Local artist Jenny has kindly shared some of her work with us this week.

Local artist, Amena Zaman, has kindly donated one of her pieces of art in support of our Fun Palace event. Anyone who contributes £20 or more will receive a limited edition print of her work. It will also be featured on our postcards inviting the local community to get involved.

Here are the messages we collected from passers by during People's Day on the 9th July 2016. These pieces will contribute to the displays promoting our campaign.

We are delighted to be joined by partners in the Arts Network who will be working with disabled people to produce some awesome works for the Fun Palace. We are now looking at a bigger central Lewisham venue thanks to the generous pledge from Lewisham Council which is enabling us to extend the scope of our Fun. A big THANK YOU to Lewisham Council for your pledge of £1950 to the costs of making this happen. This means we will be able to run art-making sessions in the run up to the big weekend. Also thanks to Chelsea Building Society Charity Choices campaign. Their donation of £300 will also make it happen,
