Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

We worked with 8 volunteers in the exploration stage and the performance itself

Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

We did work with groups and people from the Coalfields aera in Sunderland. Those who couldn't make it to the live performance viewed it via the livestream, for example at Primrose Care Home. We ran letter workshops in a local library and also invited people to write in with their letters of hope. This increased awareness of and experience in arts and culture in this area.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

We encouraged people up to Penshaw Monument, a National Trust Site and many wandered the area before and after the performance. We also ran a community movement workshop on Penshaw monument that encouraged physical activity and health.
