About the Project Creator
Allexton Community Nursery CIC is a warm, inclusive, and award-winning early years setting, dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years. Established in 2001 and proudly operating as a Community Interest Company since 2023, we serve a diverse and vibrant community, supporting families from a wide range of cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.
Open 51 weeks a year from 8 AM to 6 PM, we offer flexible childcare for working parents, students, and families accessing government-funded childcare. Our nursery features six bright and stimulating rooms — including baby, toddler, and preschool rooms — with four enjoying direct access to safe outdoor gardens, encouraging exploration and active play.
Our team of 30 highly trained and passionate practitioners (qualified from Level 2 up to Level 6 in childcare) work tirelessly to ensure every child receives personalised support. We have a strong, experienced management team, an onsite SENCO specialist, and a dedicated safeguarding team, providing outstanding support for children with special educational needs, disabilities, and those with additional vulnerabilities.
Allexton Community Nursery CIC has been nationally recognised for our inclusive practice and commitment to early intervention. Working closely with external professionals such as speech and language therapists, the Special Needs Teaching Service, and social care agencies, we ensure every child is safe, nurtured, and able to achieve their full potential.
