More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

Developing the Bee Garden was a great way to promote biodiversity and welcome insects back into our estate, we also we planted hundreds of plants around the signs and planters in our estate. This made the estate look so beautiful while also helping to improve the environment.

The local economy

The local economy

The project supported the Social Local Economy, when an area is safe, clean and attractive more people wish to visit and live here and it promotes more community activity.

Volunteering, jobs & education

We had many of the residents out to help us with the leaf collection and cleanups and also volunteered with our leaf baskets.

Arts, culture & heritage

Arts, culture & heritage

The Bee Garden was a great success and we love our refurbished street signs which will be there for many years to to come. Ard Na Greine celebrated 50 years last year and we hope to celebrate many more years to come.

Activity, health and leisure

Activity, health and leisure

We notice many more families using the open green spaces and I spotted two young girls running a charity sale of work on the benches on the green, it was so lovely to see.
