More about our impact
The environment
We have rescued 51345 kgs of surplus food in the last year! That is equal to 122253 meals that have fed Lache residents instead of being thrown away.
The local economy
We don't know exactly how much money we have saved by redistributing surplus food but we know it is enough to make a difference to local residents.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We have many amazing volunteers who give hours of their time to support Lache Larder by collecting food, serving customers and tending to our beautiful garden.
Activity, health and leisure
Lache Larder has a hugely positive impact on the community's health and wellbeing by making healthy and affordable food accessible to residents.
