Help Kew Cricket Club during COVID-19

Our cricket club relies on bar takings, corporate hires and subscriptions to survive. We need your help during the Coronavirus crisis to ensure we can continue to serve our community when we reopen.

The idea

With the news the ECB have announced that there will be no professional cricket until at least July 1, let alone amateur cricket, Kew CC are left with bill to pay, work to be done and no income.

The ECB will donate £100 to the cause if we raise at least £100 towards our target.

Our bills are £700 a month and we have decided to set up this page to help cover our costs during this worrying stage of inactivity.

We want to ensure there is a place for the whole community to come together to play and enjoy cricket. It will be more important than ever once this is finally over!

What we'll deliver

  • Help pay for critical overheads during COVID-19
  • Cover ground maintenance and key running costs

Why it's a great idea

As the cricket season is yet to get underway all of our income has been frozen due to a lack of games, subscriptions and hires.

We want to ensure our cricket club survives this crisis and is ready to hit the ground running once everything reopens!

Steps to get it done

  • Run crowdfunding campaign to collect funds
  • Pay for essential overheads
  • Start planning for the end of lockdown
