We are a non-profit organisation driven by a passion for engaging people of all ages and from all backgrounds with creativity. We started as a small heritage arts centre in a small village in North Wales offering workshops and community days to encourage the local and surrounding community to get involved in arts and making.
We have grown from small beginnings to become a multi-faceted organisation based in Chester city centre. Our beautiful Grade 1 listed building, nestled in the city’s historic Rows, is home to our dedicated Makers Space studio, Café, Store and Exhibition area.
We’re a sustainably responsible business and we care about the impact our business has on the environment.
We are supporting initiatives, sourcing from suppliers who are also responsible, driving suppliers to reduce plastic, supporting businesses that use recycled plastics and offer products that either improve our environment or provide an affordable alternative to products that come in plastic.
Creativity and quality are at the centre of everything we do which is very clear from the moment you are welcomed across our threshold.
