The idea
Wallasey Cricket Club has a thriving Junior membership programme which we urgently need help to support through the current Covid-19 crisis. We coach children of all ages and backgrounds in the local community to support and develop their ability at playing this valuable and life-affirming team sport.
What we'll deliver
- Commited coaching by ECB qualified coaches .
- competitive cricket in both mixed and single sex matches
- Provision of new cricket equipment
- Indoor winter nets
- The further development of our club in the local community
Why it's a great idea
Our coaching team is committed to expanding our female membership. It is important to offer sports orientated girls the opportunity to play
cricket- every young person is entitled to have the opportunity to play the game and thereby assist in their social development. We will be promoting our plans to expand our female membership via contact with local schools
