The development of a female section with a view to the formation of a girls team
Wallasey Cricket Club has a thriving Junior membership programme which we urgently need help to support through the current Covid-19 crisis. We coach children of all ages and backgrounds in the local community to support and develop their ability at playing this valuable and life-affirming team sport.

Our coaching team is committed to expanding our female membership. It is important to offer sports orientated girls the opportunity to play cricket- every young person is entitled to have the opportunity to play the game and thereby assist in their social development. We will be promoting our plans to expand our female membership via contact with local schools

Volunteer
We are dynamic and community spirited cricket club which provides sporting and social events throughout the year. We have approximately 80 junior members and approaching 40 adult members. In the past we have won various local competitions and have nurtured and created a good sporting environment which has become a second home to many.
During these testing times we need as much help as we can to continue to provide this essential community outreach to support our flourishing junior members so children can get the vital social skills and exercise so important to their development.
Project Owner: Wallasey cricket club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
