I Can Play Too

The roundabout was installed 28th August, and was open for business on 31st August. It was officially launched on 8th September by our Disability Champion 8yrs old Ethan, his sister Sophie, and Friends of Sandall Park Junior Ranger Archie. Our huge thanks to everyone who contributed to make this happen. Ethan, and many more disabled children will get years of pleasure from this facility - thanks to you all. The roundabout will be open for business after the Safety Inspectors have completed their inspection tomorrow. We will be having an official 'launch' on Saturday 8th September at 10am and invite all our lovely donors to attend and share in the excitement. We're at 57% now of our appeal, thanks to a huge pledge from Esmee Fairburn Foundation. We just need a few local businesses to pledge a small amount each and the wheelchair roundabout is within sight. Let's hear those shouts "I can play too!"
