The idea
This project is to maintain the oval, square and wicket throughout the summer so that it remain a viable cricket area when the next opportunity to play occurs.
If we have no cricket then we have no income. We were aiming to introduce 100 new children to cricket this summer through our All Stars, Dynamos and Quik Cricket programmes.
As we can't properly maintain the square and pitches areas now we are in trouble. If the square and pitches are not maintained correctly then many years of hard work will go up in a cloud of dust. The Allet square mower will cost £800 to renovate and the roller £900. All labour is supplied by our volunteers and our groundsman who is currently donating his time for free.
Any help towards our survival project would be very gratefully accepted.
What we'll deliver
