The idea
Dynamos Cricket is a new programme which will be running this summer where children from 5 to 8 yrs old can be introduced to cricket in a fun and safe way.
We need additional funds to help pay for the first aid courses and safeguarding courses so that our new volunteers can help deliver a great summer of Dynamos Cricket!
What we'll deliver
- Provide first aid & safeguarding courses for Dynamo cricket volunteers
- Run a Dynamos cricket programme this summer
- Create social opportunities for children and parents
Why it's a great idea
This will enable children to get introduced to cricket in a fun and safe way. It will also provide social opportunities for children and parents, building a community around the cricket club.
Steps to get it done
- Run a crowdfunding campaign for the funds needed to train the volunteers
- Provide first aid & safeguarding courses for Dynamo cricket volunteers
- Train volunteers on the Dynamos Cricket programme
- Create a summer of fun with lots of children playing cricket in a fun and safe way
