Hi, There is a month to go until the Bluegrass Festival and we are still fundraising, please continue to spread the word and thank you for your support. Also we need volunteers for the Festival weekend, so if you can lend a hand please let us know and we will be in touch. The Bluegrass chat at Hexham Library is this Wednesday at 7.30 and is free, just come along. See you there.
Hi, We have been busy spreading the word and warming everyone up for a great festival... The Hexham bluegrass band busked at Hexham Market in May and the Often Herd, one of the headline bands at the Festival, gave a concert at Core Music on 4th June. The 28th June sees the first Bluegrass Library Chat between two seasoned Bluegrass players who will be talking and playing at 7.30. and finally, (for this posting), there is a showing of our favourite Bluegrass film, "Oh Brother, Where art Thou"? on Tuesday 4th July at The Forum Cinema at 7.00 with live bluegrass music in the cafe at 6.15. See you there. Keep spreading the word. Thank you
Whoop, 50 people have pledged since fundraising began!
