Hertfordshire is a very musical county, and Hertfordshire Music Service (HMS) is one of the leading music services in the country. Each year, we provide lessons and musical experiences for more than 20,000 children across the county. We are always keen to build new partnerships to support music and arts for all including:

The SEND Music Network, a growing group of school music teachers working with children with special educational needs;
HMS's Funky Pie Company which has been running a SEND Arts Award for special schools for ten years, bringing multiple schools together to work with professional creative practitioners;
Creative Hertfordshire is a countywide network of circa 900 + creative and cultural practitioners (www.creativehertfordshire.com);
The Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020 (www.HYOC2020.org.uk)

HMS is the lead partner of the Hertfordshire Music Education Hub, which has 50 + members including schools, community organisations and cultural organisations.

Herts Big Beautiful Noise brings together a new group of schools and partners who all want to promote fantastic experiences for children and families in the county.
