Help the Hedgehogs in Mitcham

Join us for our Hedgehog Discovery Afternoon! Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with your family featuring creative crafts, hands-on activities, and screenings of the award-winning film ‘The Littlest Hedgehog.’ When: Sunday 26th October Where: Sherwood Park Hall - Sherwood Park Recreational Ground, Abbotts Rd, Mitcham CR4 1JP Time: Between 1:30pm to 4:30pm. No ticket required—drop in anytime and join the fun!

Join us on Saturday, July 26th, at 10:30 AM for a nature walk! We will meet outside the New Horizon Centre. The walk will cover approximately 2 kilometers, which is roughly the distance a hedgehog can travel at night, as we stroll through local green spaces to reach the Mill House Ecology Centre. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and your community while learning about hedgehogs and their habitats. Please note that this is a one-way walk. The Friends of Mitcham Common will be hosting their open day at the Mill House Ecology Centre, providing a fantastic chance to learn more about Mitcham Common.

I can't believe it! We’ve done it! The Mitcham Hedgehog Project has reached its crowdfund target of £1,250 on Spacehive. We achieved our fundraising goal on Sunday, April 20th, with just two days left! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the 35 backers who pledged their support for my project. I couldn’t have done this without you. To the three individuals who offered to volunteer, I will be in touch soon. To the 13 people who left encouraging comments, your words meant the world to me, and one comment, in particular, made me emotional!
