All income streams have dried up and with no bar takings or match fees, we have urgent need for funds to pay for repairing a leaking roof and decorating water-damaged changing rooms.
Labour will be provided by club members but materials will need to be purchased. A damaged roof will be patched up to prevent water leaking into the changing rooms. Changing room walls will be painted. Water damaged floor tiles will be removed and replaced with new floor tiles.

Why it's a great idea:
Comfortable and safe changing room area for adults and junior teams, which will encourage people in the community to become more active and exercise more. When the lockdown ends and the season resumes, people will need something to look forward to, and a pleasant sports club will motivate people to get involved, helping their mental health.

VolunteerCommunity based cricket club, established c.1871, established members of the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League (https://ntcl.play-cricket.com/), fielding two Saturday teams and a mid-week team, with a further mid-week team playing in the Nort-East Mid-Week League (http://midweekcricket.com/). Also have a thriving juniors section with under 13, and under 15 teams, alongside All-Stars sessions.
Project Owner: Kirkley Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
