Please help Hadfield St Andrews Cricket Club through COVID-19 so we can continue to offer cricket to adults and children once the lockdown is over.
The COVID-19 lockdown has had a big impact on Hadfield St Andrews Cricket Club. We have suffered a huge loss of income due to reduced sponsorship, reduced function bookings and no match-day income. Despite this, we still have bills to pay including insurance and over £1000 a year on pitch maintenance. We are solely run by the good will of our volunteers so any help that can be provided during this tough time would be greatly appreciated. To be able to continue to provide cricket for the local community we need your help to meet some of these costs. Money that you donate will be matched by the England & Wales Cricket Board so please give generously! We hope to see cricket back at Newshaw Lane very soon!

Why it's a great idea:
The lockdown has had a huge impact on people's physical and mental well-being. Cricket is a great form of exercise for people of all ages as well as having great social benefits. We would love to be able to offer this again as soon as restrictions are lifted. With your help we can restore some normality back to life. The summer scenes of cricket and spectators enjoying the sunshine hopefully are not too far away.

Just a little bit about us…
We have been playing cricket in Hadfield since 1923 and we are incredibly proud of our club and all its achievements over the years.
We are not just a club that plays cricket but a family orientated club that forms an integral part of our local community.
In addition to our 2 senior cricket sides that will be making their debut in the Greater Manchester Cricket League when this crisis is over, we have a very active junior section something we have been extremely proud of over the years with several players making the grade to play age group cricket with Derbyshire.
We are entirely run by the good will and dedication from our volunteers who spend countless hours assisting with the running and upkeep of the club.
Any sort of fundraising we can do is vitally important in ensuring the future prosperity of the club especially in these challenging times.
