As a Community Amateur Sports Club, affiliated to Middlesex Cricket, accredited ECB ClubMark, established in 2021, we have delivered junior girls cricket for 3 years in Barnet NW11 and NW2. Every year, we enable 36 hours of the All Stars Dynamos ECB National Cricket Participation Programmes to 50+ children, as well as 150+ hours of performance squad training by female UKCC2 coaches. We count 4 junior girls squads, in the age groups of U10, U11, U12 and U13, comprising 30+ junior girl players. We participate in all the MJCA junior girls cricket competitions and girls cricket festivals all-year, both indoors and outdoors. We develop parent volunteers, especially mums, to upskill as qualified coaches and first-aiders. We encourage girls to achieve Middlesex CAG team selection. As an ECB Disability Cricket Champion Club, we offer 20 hours of junior disability cricket all-year to SEN children, especially ADHD. The Spirit of Cricket teaches traditional British values, such as Respect, Self-Discipline, and Conduct. Our families actively volunteer to keep our local playing fields clean and our surrounding heath green. We celebrate many community events at our local Barnet parks, playing fields and open spaces, to promote cohesiveness and inclusivity. We collaborate with other volunteer organisations that promote sports for all children. Our girls proudly bike, run or scooter to play. Our girls design their own kit, share equipment from one club bag, and encourage their other friends at school to play cricket regularly. So to affordably deliver equal access to facility provisions to all families, we aim to be majority funded by grants, for use towards venue hire, coach fees, equipment costs, training & development, and logistics. We play at Hampstead Heath every Sunday.
