Dear Friends of Hambledon CC Request for Donations Sadly it is very unlikely that we will see any club cricket this summer and as a result we have decided not to request a membership fee from players this year. Membership fees, bar takings, sponsorship and donations form the basis of our income during a season. However, despite us not receiving any significant income this year we will still have some major fixed costs to pay (insurance £4k, ground maintenance £2.5k). As you might expect we are seeking for a better deal on our insurance and pursuing a local authority COVID-19 grant. However, we still need your financial support to help us sustain cricket at Hambledon for a future without COVID-19. So we are launching a crowd funding campaign to see the Dons through this crisis utilising the ECB’s Spacehive application. Please help this very special club to ensure its future and provide cricket for many years to come.

• Pitch & Pavilion maintenance costs
• Club running costs

Funds raised will help the club continue to thrive during these difficult times, and then come back strongly when cricket is able to resume...

• The Cricket ground will be maintained and ready for the season once Covid 19 clearance

Note that although the "target" is only £200, this is to ensure we hit our target and qualify for a contribution from the ECB. We will be continuing after that to raises as much as we can towards the club's running costs...
