The idea
Halow project are delighted to bring some festive sparkle to the Guildford community in the Guildford Castle Grounds with a Night of Light on Thursday 1 December, 4pm - 8pm.
Explore the market grotto at the bandstand, enjoy the music and wander round the twinkling Christmas lantern show; all hand-created by the young people with learning disabilities that the charity supports. It’s sure to be a dazzling display!
Whilst you're at the event sort your Christmas shopping with a fantastic variety of festive wares created by the charity’s young people including Christmas cards, halow hob goblins, cheerful tree decorations and lovely bird feeders. Other stall holders are to be confirmed.
To be merry, warm yourself up with a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate and enjoy a mince pie or two.
We hope for this evening to bring Christmas cheer to the Guildford community and for helping Halow project to continue supporting young adults with a learning disability.

Why it's a great idea
This is a community event for local's in Guildford to come and enjoy at Christmas time. It will be ideal for any age range to attend and it will aim to bring festive cheer and light up Guildford in an alternative way to the Christmas light switch on.
This project also aims to help the young people with a learning disability that Halow project supports by: developing team working skills, encouraging individual's creative skillsets, working towards a goal, working in a supportive environment and a project to be inclusive in local Guildford community.
