We’re creating a beautiful, inclusive yoga studio in the heart of Ludlow - a sanctuary for movement, rest, and connection with self and land, supporting community well being across the Marches.

We’re transforming a studio space in the heart of Ludlow into an inclusive yoga and well being hub — a place for movement, rest, and re-connection offering classes, seasonal workshops, and trauma-sensitive sessions for every body. Ludlow and the wider Welsh Marches lack a dedicated space for year-round, inclusive well being. Many people in our community — including older adults, carers, those with long-term health conditions, and people facing financial hardship — are unable to access regular, supportive movement practices. This project is led by a local yoga teacher and community interest company. With your support, we’ll deliver free and heavily subsidized classes alongside regular community offerings — creating a space that’s open, welcoming, and responsive to the needs of our rural community.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This project will create a welcoming, inclusive space in Ludlow where people of all ages and backgrounds can come to move, breathe, rest, and connect. It will improve access to well being support in a rural area where options are limited, especially for those facing financial, social, or physical barriers. Classes will serve older adults, carers, those with chronic illness, mental health challenges, or limited mobility, as well as the wider public. We’ll offer free and low-cost sessions to ensure no one is excluded from the benefits of yoga, rest, and re-connection. By reducing isolation, supporting mental health, and building community resilience, this studio will help Ludlow thrive — one breath at a time.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all of you for helping make this happen - we believe everybody who wants to access holistic health practices should be able to, regardless of income or background because we know first hand what a lifeline they can be and the positive changes they can create. We're very grateful to be able to offer these fully subsidised first classes for our local community and can't wait to see how they're received and what is in store next for our community projects.
Whoop, 60 people have pledged since fundraising began!
This project was born from a simple belief: everyone should have access to uplifting, affordable wellbeing sessions right here in our community. We were hoping for council funding to help make it happen, which is why we chose this crowdfunding platform. But after raising concerns about the cost of equipment and me (as a CIC director) delivering the sessions, they’ve decided not to support us — even though: ~ We removed all equipment costs (we’ll provide it ourselves and take on the cost) ~ My delivery role is separate from my director duties ~ Every penny raised goes directly into subsidising community sessions, with no profit being made It’s frustrating and disheartening… but we’re not giving up. 💛 With your help, we can still bring this to life. Every pound you pledge will go directly towards delivering the sessions our community needs and deserves - we have until 18th August, let's spread the word.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined our crowdfunding event at Gather last Saturday - we raised a total of £140 towards our campaign from the outdoor yoga + indoor sound bath session and are also going to receive the proceeds of the coffee bar from Gather. An especially big thank you to Gather for all of your support + generosity.
