Hi, I’m Gautier — founder of The Green Londoner, a new media and action platform dedicated to making London greener, more sustainable, and more connected. Originally from France, I’ve lived in Hammersmith & Fulham for the past eight years, a place I now proudly call home.
My background is in climate policy and diplomacy — I spent years advising governments and shaping strategies. But I realised that real change doesn’t just happen at the top. It happens locally, with people who care, take initiative, and come together. That’s why I launched The Green Londoner: to bring the climate conversation down to earth, into our boroughs, our homes, and our everyday lives.
This campaign focuses on H&F, where I want to build a platform that acts as both a connector and a springboard — helping residents from all backgrounds engage with climate action in ways that are practical, inclusive, and meaningful. The idea is to create a hub where people can find mentors, discover green job or volunteering opportunities, attend local events and workshops, and build networks that help turn climate ambition into real-life action.
I want to bring value and purpose to the borough by testing new ideas, organising events that inform and inspire, and helping people reconnect — with nature, with themselves, and with each other. There’s huge potential to collaborate with local businesses, charities, not-for-profits, and authorities to raise our collective ambition and fill the gap between intention and action.
My hope is that what we build here in H&F can become a model for climate engagement across London — a place where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to act, not just for the planet, but for their own wellbeing and their community.
Thanks for being part of this journey!
