ReGreen have weeded, removed the dead trees, planted some apple trees and added 750l of compost. All ready for the Year 3 & 4 gardening club, who planted up perennial flowers and summer bulbs! The good news is that we smashed our funding goal. The other good news is that we have permission to crack on. 🤑 Funding? Smashed it 👍 Emails were sent. Nags were made. Permissions? Got ‘em 💃 People? Awesome 🙌 Huge thanks to the backers, local council members and the North of Tyne Combined Authority. 3½ Things Next 🪴 Move planters into place Volunteers needed Within the next week or so 🪑 Order and install the benches Volunteers are ready! They’re getting ordered ASAP Timings depend on delivery 🌱 Do some planting Volunteers needed We’ll make a simple schedule for maintenance, ~ every 3 months December is a quiet time for planting, so we’ll plan for early spring! 🥱 Oh, and indemnity insurance.
