More about our impact
The environment
I have repurposed an unused garden and provide wildlife with a place to thrive. I also educate on ecological matters including foraging, seasonal shifts, guardianship of the land and a deep respect for plants.
The local economy
I have made lots of beautiful connections with the local community, other makers and support the Heritage Centre with events. My project also brings conscious tourism to the area who are interested in working with natural elements.
Volunteering, jobs & education
A small team of volunteers helped with the restoration and still actively participate in the project. Workshop attendees have shared their inspiration to explore the landscape in a new way and the rich education of our natural world has started to grow across the community.
Arts, culture & heritage
I have released two collections of artworks focused on plant chemistry and visual representations of earthly expressions. The Heritage Centre has a new profile of customers who are interested in nature based activities.
Activity, health and leisure
I host monthly foraging clubs and wild walks around the area. These experiences are about getting out together as a group and have a focus on positive wellbeing.
