A fun-filled, family orientated street party featuring live music, international food, arts and crafts, children’s entertainment and more
The Golborne Road Festival is a celebration of our rich, diverse community and we want to make 2016 our biggest and best day out yet! We are now in our 7th year, and with your help we will put on some great entertainment and fun activities that all the family can enjoy.
The Festival is organised by volunteers from the Golborne Forum, the local network that brings together residents, local community groups and local business.
All activities are FREE and when the sun is shining we expect up to 4,000 people from the local area and visitors from further afar will come and join us, enjoying the unique atmosphere of Golborne Road.
We will offer live entertainment featuring the best local talent, international food, sports and wellbeing activities, arts and crafts, and community stalls. There will be plenty to entertain the children with a bouncy castle, face painting and children’s entertainers.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Golborne is a great place, with a special atmosphere. Its rich diversity, vibrant market and array of unique shops are reasons why many people love the area and choose to live or visit here.
But we know the area has its fair share of problems too. Golborne is one of London’s poorest wards. Many members of our community live in overcrowded conditions and suffer poor health.
That is why we want to put on a celebratory event that everybody can enjoy. We don’t charge for any of our activities. We want to bring everybody together.
Thanks to some great local sponsors we are already on our way towards our fundraising target. But we still face a shortfall in our budget. Missing our fundraising target would mean we’d have to make some tough decisions; to either cut back on the entertainment, or activities for children.
We hope you can help us reach our goal, and ensure another memorable Festival for the people of Golborne and North Kensington!

To everyone who's contributed, and helped spread the word. We would like to offer a GREAT BIG THANKS! We have finally reached our fundraising target, which means we can now afford the little extras which will make this year's Golborne Road Festival the biggest and best we've ever had. Please, don't forget to join us on the day, and invite your friends, family and neighbours, so that we can celebrate Golborne and our community together. Thanks Kuldip on behalf of the Golborne Forum
Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
Thank you all for making a donation towards this year's Golborne Road Festival. As you will see, with your generous support we area almost there, .... just one final push away from reaching our goal! With only 7 days to go, can I make one final request? Can you please reshare this campaign to help us spread the word? Let people know that with their help we can ensure this year's Golborne Road Festival is the biggest and the best yet. We have posters and leaflets available, so if you can help publicise the day please collect some from the Venture Community Centre, Wornington Road, W10, or call 020 7243 9800 and we can send you some in the post. Once again, thank you all for your support, and please join us to celebrate on 10th July! Kuldip Golborne Forum
We are excited to finally launch our crowdfunding campaign. Thank you to Westway Trust, City Living Local Life and Catalyst Housing for providing vital seed funding to help us get off the mark. Plans are going well but the success of this campaign will determine just how much entertainment and activities we can provide, particularly for children. Last year we had queues for face painting and craft activities and it would be great to offer more. If you have never attended the Festival please do come, with great live music, sports activities, international food stalls and the involvement of local community groups there is something for everyone.
