Updates
Sadly we have been unsuccessful in our efforts to meet our target of £10,800. This therefore means that we will not receive any of the pledges that you have been kind enough to offer. However, we are soooooo grateful for your support, and we still need your help - more than ever - as we are not giving up! Therefore, if you wish to turn your pledges into actual donations, please visit our previous gofundme page https://www.gofundme.com/f/glastonbeoley where you will be able to donate your pledges directly. We hope to see you next year! And thank you again.
We have more thank you's! Thank you to Steph Bubb, Steve Hird, Beth Bethell, Simon Peace, Jo-Anne Shellum, Nikki Harris, Lala Costello! You guys are keeping our hopes up - thank you! If we happen to have missed anyone out please know that every pledge is GREATLY appreciated and noticed and celebrated (see picture for details!)
We are fighting off Covid and getting better every day. Thank you to you all for keeping momentum going in our absence! Your support means the world to us. In the new year we will need to start booking stages, sound engineers, a generator, portaloos etc etc etc......! We really want to continue our approach of paying for everything to run the festival upfront, so that all of the takings from the event go straight to our charities of choice. This is why your support means so much to us. At a time when we cannot do our usual fundraising activities we are struggling to raise the cash, so every pledge will take us closer to our target! Thank you all, and please keep that support coming - the more we raise, the better the festival and the more money we raise on the day for our local charities!
Whoop, 40 people have pledged since fundraising began!
Who remembers our Glastonbeoley fundraising launch night this time last year, at St Stephens Church in the heart of Redditch?? What an amazing night we had, with music from Garth Kirkham, Hatstand, Imaner, Smokin' Ashes, and The Tangents. AND we managed to raise a few quid for this years festival too, which sadly we had to be creative and have online. These times will return......we all just need a little patience, to take good care of each other, and a lot of careful planning when we are given the go ahead to start gently coming back together. It WILL happen, folks. We are hoping that that time will be with us by next June, and we hope to have an amazing and safe festival. Keep staying safe in the meantime. Get fresh air when you can.....take good care of your mental health, and keep an eye out for each other - we are all on this journey together.xx
