Arts, culture & heritage
Our three theatre groups have already benefitted from the lift, even though it has only been operating for a few weeks. Re-action theatre have a performance coming up and the new lift will help students, carers and their audience move easily between the performance space and the top floor and toilets for the first time in many years of bringing drama to the Cube. We are already excited about the huge benefits to everyone involved in our many theatre productions and events throughout the year.
Activity, health and leisure
The lift is proving a great improvement for those who use the hall for exercise and dance - especially the extend exercise classes, run three times a week for those with mobility problems. It has also been great for the trainers and instructors who no longer have to carry boxes up and down the stairs!
