'Give us a lift!' at Malvern Cube
Help us make Malvern Cube accessible to the whole Cube community by installing a platform lift to connect our downstairs hall with the upstairs cafe, rooms and toilets.
About the Project Creator
Karen is the chair of trustees at Malvern Cube and part of a team of volunteers who are working together to raise money for a platform lift for Malvern Cube.
Malvern Cube is a community centre located in the town of Great Malvern, Worcestershire. It is self funded and run by a charity - Malvern Youth and Community Trust - led by volunteers. The idea for Malvern Cube came about ten years ago when local people got together to save the council run youth centre from closure. Since then an enegetic group of volunteers has transformed it into a vibrant and quirky community centre with events and activities for the whole community.
The trustees are all local people, committed to providing a space for the Malvern community to play, learn and meet together and as a centre for a growing alternative arts scene. We are all hands-on in running the Cube along with our wonderful manager, Nicola, and a small team of part-time staff and many volunteers.
