More about our impact

More about our impact

The environment

The environment

As part of our early Girls that Brunch session, we began conversations around how everyday choices impact the environment. The girls shared ideas on sustainable living, and we introduced plans for future enterprising activities that promote renewable, eco-friendly habits — laying the groundwork for our environmental focus moving forward.

The local economy

The local economy

Our Girls that Brunch starter session introduced the idea of turning creative skills into small business opportunities. The girls explored ideas for future craft and art-based enterprise activities, aimed at building confidence and contributing to a sustainable, locally rooted project that can grow to support the wider community economy.

Volunteering, jobs & education

Volunteering, jobs & education

The project engaged three fully trained female volunteers who supported the starter session and are committed to ongoing mentoring. We’re building a network of local women to provide career and education advice, creating opportunities for girls to develop skills, gain confidence, and explore future volunteering and job pathways.
