More about our impact
The local economy
Visitors to our community hub have had the opportunity to purchase items made by local artists. All purchases have helped and supported the local economy.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We created two new volunteeering opportunities to support the project. Our Arts & Creativity Officer and Marketing & Communications Officer have also been key to the success of the project.
Arts, culture & heritage
Our project was focused on making the arts more accessible to children and younger people. It combined being creative with providing an opportunity to improve literacy and reading skills. Attendees were asked to write a short story, develop characters, with illustrations and read their story to the group. All who participated have learnt a new art skill and improved their confidence.
