The idea
We believe that by providing activities, opportunities, and events that support and develop community connectedness for women and improve their social, emotional, and physical well-being, the wider community will benefit in the longer term.
Gather2Gether’s long-term aim is for all women in Ealing to feel socially connected and empowered, regardless of ethnicity, religion, culture, or socio-economic background. The vision for Gather2Gether is to reach 100 women in year 1 and 300 women over the next 3 years. We aim to provide 5-10 activities, opportunities, and events per year. We aim to track the impact of Gather2Gether through the number of participants and hours of engagement, feedback surveys, and capturing the social connectedness stories and any learning and insights through social media interaction and direct conversations. The statistics suggest that the women have enjoyed meeting new people and they have felt uplifted. Over 80% wanted to repeat similar activities.
