The idea
@gandabbaschocolate are bringing artisanal Sorrel and Chocolate to Leicester, combined with interfaith sonic and physical therapy.
There is strong demand for these experiences, which are normally prohibitively expensive.
People learn to make chocolate and sorrel, and also to recycle and upcycle bottles and old P&P to make new products.
Sales go into subsidising other community projects and back into the production process
This will create volunteering opportunities in the cultural sector, and introduced time honoured caribbean traditions from caribbean practitioners into Leicester. It will also make a space for adjacent practices such as yoga and sound baths for the community to participate in and experience for cheap or free
LCB Depot, African Caribbean Centre and Attenborough Arts Centre have supported and benefitted from the project thus far.
