🎉 Full Circle Funding — We Did It! We're thrilled to share that our Spacehive crowdfunding campaign has been successful! Thanks to the incredible support of our community, and vital pledges from Cheshire West and Chester Council. The Full Circle project has closed and funding is now on its way to us. We won't pretend it was all plain sailing. There was a tense moment when the campaign closed just short of target and the Council's pledge hadn't registered — but it's all sorted now, and we are genuinely so grateful to every single person who backed us. You made this happen. We are now able to press ahead with activities for Chester Green Festival, including the Workshop below and installing new Collection Hubs in Neston and Helsby. Plus more fundraising with Music after the festival on the 14th June. Helsby and Neston Refill Hubs go in Friday. We start the Workshops in June. The 14th June Chester Green Festival event is mainly around the Full Circle principles. The costs of Chester Townhall were covered by the funder. We’re calling on our community to help us reach the final £1,500 of our Spacehive crowdfunding campaign, run in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council. Thanks to incredible local support, we’ve already reached 83% of our target — but we need your help to get to 100% in the next 4 days. Our campaign has attracted backers from across the community, unlocking match funding from Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Climate Change Emergency Fund and Community Innovation Fund. With your support, we’ll be able to deliver the Chester Green Festival on June 7th and 14th, alongside launching four new Community Refill Hubs across Cheshire. These hubs will offer reusable party kits for hire, as well as sewing, repair initiatives and training to help people reduce waste and save money.
