The local economy
We were able to employ 2 part time staff to work within the project, and we also provided affordable food every Friday at the Meeting Place Cafe through the Greenway Grocer
Volunteering, jobs & education
Through the community cafe being opened 2 extra sessions each week we increased our volunteer base for the project.
Activity, health and leisure
Access to fruit and veg helped promote healthy eating and the warm space and welcoming environment helped reduce social isolation and increased mental health in many who come along to the community cafe
