Folkestone's First Summer Panto on the Beach: May I introduce you to our Dame Victoria, fashion designer and businesswoman, largely responsible for bringing plastic punk and recycled fashions to Folkestone. OH, YES SHE IS! We are busy creating a piece of 'guerilla panto' throughout the Lower Leas Park. We will be popping up with our show throughout the day but will certainly be at the Amphitheatre at 1pm on Saturday 14 August. So, if you want to make sure to see the show, please do come at 1pm! Bring your water pistols and warm up your voices: Prepare yourself to cheer on the Goodies and 'Boooooo' the Baddies!!! Summer Panto in Folkestone! OH, YES IT IS!

Just a quick message to say that we are looking forward to beginning our rehearsals in 7 days time. Thank you so much for making this project happen. We still have a couple of remaining spaces for anyone [12 to 25 YO] who may want to participate: If you or someone you know is interested in using their creative talents to raise awareness of the environmental impact that plastic is having on coastal towns like Folkestone, then the Folkestone Performing Arts Centre needs your help! No experience is necessary. All rehearsals and performances will happen on the Lower Leas Amphitheatre in Folkestone. Learn New Skills and Meet New People. Beat those Lockdown Blues with Folkestone’s First Drama Project in over a year.
