The idea
FNDLincs is a dedicated web platform centred on supporting individuals, living in Lincolnshire, diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), along with their families and carers. Recognising the scarcity of local resources for one of the most prevalent neurological conditions in Secondary Care, FNDLincs aims to bridge gaps by offering reliable information, directing users to local services, and fostering a sense of community. With a focus on health and wellbeing education, it will empower users to proactively manage their condition while alleviating pressure on emergency healthcare and social services. Inspired by the remarkable uptake of tickets for a county-wide FND awareness event which witnessed 170 tickets being booked within 14 days of launching the event. The platform will be tailored to meet the needs of individuals, carers, and professionals across primary and secondary care, ensuring meaningful connections and comprehensive post-diagnosis support.
