90s pop star Whigfield, famous for the 1995 dance hit ‘Saturday Night’, was the headliner for the event with many other acts and even pupils performing.\n\nHeadteacher Dave McPartlin, who led the BGT entry six years ago, said of the plans: “Summer across the UK is filled with festivals.\nWe want to create our very own Glastonbury , Leeds and Reading albeit without the tents and clean up operation after it's finished!\n\nTake a look at some incredible pics from the event

We held a community clean up day which involved 60 children and 20 professionals from schools , Housing , Police and Football Club

We offered festival food outlet trading to a variety of businesses

300 Local schoolchildren engaged in dance and theatre practice in the run up to the festival and performed on the evening 5 x Local community bands performed on the main stage on the evening
