Access for all at Exeter Street Hall

We're nearly there! The handrail is now in place and soon we'll be laying the new ramp surface.

Delighted to report that the handrail is now being installed. As soon as the work is finished, we will lay the new non-slip surface to enable wheelchair users a smooth entrance into the hall. We'll keep you posted :-)

Work on the accessibility improvements is going really well and all internal work should be complete in the next few days, ready for events and hirers in early September. The concrete foundations for the ramp have now been laid - you can see how much has changed in the image above. We now have just 5 days to raise the remaining 50% of our target! If we are successful we can install a fully non-slip resin surface and metal hand rail so we really need a massive push to get us over the line.
