Enabling everyone to imagine, fund & launch local projects that bring Worcestershire to life.
Our passion is to provide high quality after-school care for children aged between 3 and 10 from a range of Evesham schools, while parents/carers have to work or study. We provide both formal and informal opportunities for all those who attend to enable them to SHINE in their individual ways. As an inclusive provision we cater for all children including those with autism, refugees and most recently a wheelchair user who has never been able to access such provision before. We currently operate a 'walking bus' to collect our children from their various schools but would like a minibus to enable us to collect more children, from more schools, more efficiently.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
In these challenging times parents/carers are having to work longer hours and need to be confident about the care their children receive after schoool. More people will be able to enter paid employment, or extend their hours if we can have a wider reach across schools. The children have wonderful opportunities to develop or learn new skills in a stimulating environment with good indoor and outdoor spaces. We also provide snacks as children always work up an appetite at school!
