Empowering Migrant Women in Enfield

Since reaching our crowdfunding target, we successfully delivered the full 12-week Empowering Migrant Women in Enfield programme between December 2025 and March 2026.

We supported 22 migrant and ethnic minority women through weekly confidence-building and employability workshops, alongside personalised one-to-one mentoring. Sessions focused on communication skills, spoken English confidence, CV development, interview preparation, wellbeing and local engagement.

The programme concluded with a Celebration & Progression Event where participants shared their journeys and next steps. Several women have since progressed into volunteering, job searching, further training and community engagement.

Thanks to the support of our 17 backers and funding partners, we were able to create a safe, inclusive space that reduced isolation and strengthened confidence among women who often face significant barriers.
