The idea
After learning about the alarming statistics regarding children's mental health, I created The Wellbeing Club. Over the past few years, this initiative has helped over 40 children gain confidence, resilience, and happiness in collaboration with local primary schools. However, charging parents was not sustainable, and schools did not have the funds to continue the programme.
Now, I am excited to introduce Emotion Explorers, a series of interactive workshops designed to help primary school children understand and express their feelings and emotions. These workshops will take place within the school environment, ensuring accessibility for all students. Each session will be filled with engaging activities, discussions, and practical exercises aimed at building emotional awareness, confidence, and resilience in young learners.
What we'll deliver
- Six weekly interactive workshops for primary school children
- Each workshop lasting one hour, held within the school environment
- Engaging activities, discussions, and practical exercises
- Sessions focused on understanding and expressing feelings and emotions
- Follow-up materials for children to reinforce learning at home

Did You Know?
Many people in prison have low emotional intelligence, showing just how crucial it is to develop these skills early on.
Poor mental health is often linked to difficulties with understanding and managing emotions.
Research shows that teaching children emotional skills early can prevent future mental health issues.
As a mother who has struggled with expressing my own emotions, I know firsthand how challenging it can be. My goal with Emotion Explorers is to help children navigate their feelings more easily, so they don’t face the same struggles. I truly believe that by giving children the tools to understand and manage their emotions, we can create a brighter, happier future for them and for our world. Your support can make this vision a reality, helping children build the emotional resilience they need to thrive.
