By Easington Lane Community Access Point
To assist in the health and wellbeing of our Tiny Tots we seek to provide an outdoor climbing frame which will help them both learn and remain active.
We seek to see the installation of an outdor playing and climbing frame in the form of a ship (a brig) and also a time out trail. These two pieces of equipment will be installed in our Tiny Tots garden which provides a safe and secure environment in which our Tiny Tots can play. Access during Tiny Tots sessions is only available through the Tiny Tots Room so ensuring the security and safeguarding of our Tiny Tots is manitained. The Brig and the Trim Trail will complement the swing, the gazebo and the sit on rides already installed in the garden. These two additional pieces of equipment will complement the current provision and increase the opportunity for our outdoor play and exercise.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
ELCAP host 8 Tiny Tot sessions a week (one of them is ran by Hetton Buddies) and understand the importance of active play time but finding ways of creative and imaginative play is often hard. The provision of a dedicated climbing frame in the garden will enhace and promote further development in our youngest of service users. n outdoor This facility will see an improvement in the child's well-being as well as supporting the child's ability to identify and manage risk. All this play will not only widen our offer of both indoor and outdoior activities but willlead to the children better regulating their emotions, leading to higher attainment and happier children.
